Australia Has Won The Ashes

#TheUrnReturns, as Australia brings a little pile of burnt wood (which harbours massive amounts of national symbolism) back to its rightful home on our shores for the first time in seven years, taking five wickets on the final day of the Third Test in Perth to cement an insurmountable 3 – 0 lead over England and win The Ashes

The final wicket belonged to George Bailey, who caught James Anderson‘s short leg strike bowled by Mitchell Johnson. As the series continues, smug Aussies are licking their lips at the possibility of a 5 – 0 whitewash if Sydney and Melbourne victories are to be had – a very real possibility, given the pitiful cricket England has been dishing up thus far.

Great work, boys. Australia is proud.
