Aussie Mitchell Johnson’s Epic Six Smashes Zimbabwean Commentary Box

Mitchell Johnson – southpaw all-rounder and owner of the most putrid facial hair in all of world cricket – shows us what happens when you eat your steroids Weet-Bix each morning.

Namely this paneful (sorry not sorry) window widow-maker struck off Zimbabwean quick Tinashe Panyangara during the penultimate over of Australia’s series opener against Zimbabwe in Harare last night. The strike, one of many which cleared the fence, shattered the ground’s commentary box window and showered the commentary team – Neil Manthorp and Pommie Mbangwa – in shards of glass on the way to being the most interesting thing that happened that day.
And here it is.
The Aussies ended up with a run total of 350 – a venue record – with Glenn Maxwell (93 off 46 balls), Aaron Finch (67 off 79), Brad Haddin (46 off 58) and Mitchell Marsh (89 off 83) the leaders. In reply the Zimbabweans were bowled out for 152 with more than 10 overs remaining.
