Water Buffalo Apprehended After Casual Saunter Down King Street, Newtown

Like two bulls run amok in an independent China shop staffed exclusively by anarchist feminists, a pair of water buffalo with a penchant for vegan pad thai at discounted student rates and vintage books have been cornered by firefighters after running wild down King Street, Newtown, earlier this morning.

This, via onlooker Abril Felman:

Eyewitness reports indicate a jeep that looked like a film crew was following them, photographing them and “egging them on”, followed soon after by a police car and a fire truck. Per the SMH, Fire and Rescue NSW said they had cornered the animals near Missenden Road at Camperdown and were still trying to secure them. Apparently the bulls broke free from the set of a Korean Samsung commercial filming at Sydney Park.

More to come, maybe.
