Cards on the table, Tom Hardy and a dog are literally the only things I want out of life. 

Don’t get me wrong, most other things are fine. There’s a lot of good stuff in the world. 

I just really, really want a dog and Tom Hardy.

Now, while it’s not quite as good as the real thing, we all just got something that at least stars both Tom Hardy and a dog. And it includes bedtime stories, which is a fun bonus.

Ahead of the next episode of British TV show ‘CBeebies,’ old mate Tom has starred in a promo for his role as Lead Bedtime Storyteller, surrounded by teddy bears, blankets, and his best friend who, for anyone who hasn’t been paying attention, is a dog:

“Cloud spotting with a best friend is definitely more enjoyable.” 

“Especially if your best friend is a dog.”

Surprisingly, this won’t actually be Hardy’s first time on the kids show: he read Simon Philip and Kate Hindley’s ‘You Must Bring a Hat’ for the New Year’s Eve 2016 episode that also featured his good dog.

Turns out Tom Hardy is a huge goddamn softy, who’d have guessed it?
