In thew grand pantheon of bloodthirsty murder animals, the sea lion tends to feature much lower than its cousin the land lion. They mostly just bark and clap. They probably get up to some depraved shit below sea level, but we don’t have to see or think about that.
But be ready to dispense with these foolish assumptions about sea lions. Over the weekend, footage was captured of a sea lion in Canada just casually pulling a small girl into the water from a dock.
“It initially jumped up to the girl to read her I guess,” said Michael Fujiwara, the guy who captured it all on video. “And then it came back up a second time, but this time grabbing the girl by the waist and dragging her down into the water.”

My take? This video is staged by the shark lobby to make their chosen ocean predator seem less horrifying. Have you ever seen a shark jump out of the water and steal a child from a dock?
