WATCH: NASA Posts Hectic Vid Of The ISS Cruising Over 3 Huge Hurricanes

It’s kinda crazy thinking about how right now there a bunch of people in the International Space Station, hanging out doing whatever it is super athletic geniuses do when they’re stuck in a small metal capsule that is only barely protecting them from the certain death of space.

While us assholes are walking around on the ground like a bunch of idiots, these brave men and woman (there’s just the one) are up there doing all sorts of crazy science experiments and probably averting disaster ‘Apollo 13‘-style on a daily basis.
They are also talking lots and lots of photos and just casually posting them to Twitter like it’s no big deal that they can see the entirety of Africa and I’m stuck staring at a monitor for nearly every waking second of my life (half of that by choice).

What an asshole.
Somewhat redemptively though, they are sharing the love with us, chucking up all sorts of insane videos as freebies, like this recent time-lapse of the ISS cruising over of the top of three gigantic, terrifying hurricanes.
The station gets a full view of Hurricanes Lester, Gaston, and Madeline, who is a pretty hefty Category 3, and getting dangerously close to Hawaii.
Check it out, dog:
