He’s come a long bloody way since Trent from Punchy, but Nick Boshier, one half of the ever-present Bondi Hipsters, continues to get down to biz by rolling out character after character.
And his newest one? It’s uh… well, look. Judge for yourself.
Boshier’s latest creation is ‘Cassius,’ the latest in his ‘Meanwhile on Earth‘ character series, who in Boshier’s own words is “an innovator, artist, musician, philosopher, visionary, social architect, force of nature, fire…“
He also happens to be the designer of New York’s “first and best chloroform-based cologne, Sans Consent.”
Yeaaaah.
The hyper-arrogant artist-type character who has more than just a few creepo vibes about him spends his days live-streaming his entire life (by his estimation this means he’ll be releasing “one sex tape per night“) and jamming with his child string ensemble-backed rap project ‘Cassius & the Kiddy-Fiddlers.’
In typical Boshier/Bondi Hipsters fashion, it’s brash, it’s loud, it’s very confrontational, and its tongue is planted firmly in its cheek.
Cassius has cropped up on Meanwhile on Earth before, but consider this a re-introduction to his particularly pungent brand of designer filth.
After all, if he wants to teabag a pigeon, he’ll bloody well go ahead and do it.
