A 20-year-old Victorian man has shared a confronting video showing his spasms and stutter after a bad reaction to ecstasy, urging other young people to stay clear of party drugs.
While we’re the last website on earth to be lecturing people on the consumption of pingers – see HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE, etc – the video is still very powerful stuff.
Jordy Hurdes of Wangaratta uploaded the video yesterday, saying “this isn’t for sympathy, this is for awareness”, before urging viewers to “be the stronger person” and say no to pingers.
He added, of his condition:
“It’s a waiting game at the moment to see whether I’ll have a permanent jerking like I have now as you can see and with my stutter I’m not sure whether it will get better any time soon.”
We don’t know much about Jordy’s particular situation beyond this first-hand account and an earlier post about his time in hospital, but his video speaks for itself:
