A bunch of prisoners at a jail in Victoria have been busted for growing weed in the garden of the facility. They were growing an illegal drug… inside a jail.
Now, we ain’t one to endorse committing crimes and going to jail, but whoever these prisoners are, they are gutsy as hell.
This power move is so goddamn ridiculous that it just might’ve just worked, and we literally cannot help but be slightly impressed.
Twenty eight marijuana plants were found growing in the veggie patch at the medium security Fulham Correctional Centre in VIC yesterday.
Victoria‘s Corrections Commissioner Jan Shuard spoke to Neil Mitchell on 3AW this morning, saying it was an unacceptable blunder.
“It’s embarrassing. These things shouldn’t happen.”

The best part of this story, however, is that those dope-lovin’ crims were actually taught horticulture as a subject inside the prison. Amazing.
