How excited are you for the premiere of Star Wars story, ‘Rogue One’? If you’re anything like this writer, you are way OTT gaddamn excited! That sentence didn’t even make sense! That accurately describes my excitement levels.
Anyway, at the Los Angeles premiere last night, there was an actual X-Wing stationed on the red carpet. This made me insanely jealous, due to the fact that I DESPERATELY want to ride in an X-Wing, and must solemnly remind myself that I never will.
However, we may have the next best thing – an Uber X-Wing.
Uber have teamed up with Disney to do a very flipping cool activation in the lead up to the release of ‘Rogue One’.
On the app, there’s a bunch of exclusive ‘Star Wars’ content to watch if you book a ride between 12 – 18 December.
BUT ALSO – if you activate the ‘Rogue One’ promo and book an Uber, rather than watching a boring shitty car on the real-time map, a ‘Star Wars’ vehicle will approach you instead.
It could be an X-Wing. It could be a TIE Fighter.
Uber hasn’t given a list of the types of vehicles that will be pictured, so until then, we’re gonna imagine ourselves zooming about in a giant motherlickin’ Death Star, which is not technically a vehicle, but w/e, can you please let me live?

Step 1: Open the Uber app
Step 2: Tap “Activate” on the special ‘Rogue One: A Star Wars Story’ card
Step 3: Enter your destination, and enjoy
