Two People Allegedly Shot Outside Police HQ In Parramatta

While the world is still reeling from the tragic news of the community college shooting in Oregon, another shooting has allegedly occurred a little closer to home. Reports are surfacing that shots have been purposely fired outside a police station in Sydney’s west.

According to media sources, the shooting occurred on Charles Street, close to the Parramatta Police Headquarters. The road has been closed, and police have urged the public to avoid the area. 
Reports allege that two people have been killed, and witnesses have stated that they saw two bodies on the ground:


UPDATE:
According to The Daily Telegraph, a lone gunman has shot a police IT expert outside of Parramatta Police HQ. According to a witness, after the attack, special constables who guard the entrance to the headquarters shot the gunman. 
Residents who live nearby say they heard three or four shots first, then another four shots after approximately 30 seconds. 
The shooting happened just near a daycare centre, which is used by police force families.
