Twitter Still Trying To Choke Out Instagram, Introduces Photo Filters

Are you an artistic free spirit whose existence consists of impossibly photogenic life events? Are your weekends spent shooting FOMO-inducing macaroon clusters (yum-yuck), applying the most washed out appropriate filter settings possible and uploading to an immensely popular photo-sharing service used to receive digital validation for your highly aspirational lifestyle?

You don’t need Instagram to do that.

Twitter, who aren’t really speaking with the increasingly popular Facebook-owned photo sharing service after they “disabled photo integration with Twitter” this week, have introduced an Instagram-like update to their photo functionality. #About #Time Twitter users, much like Instagram users, can now pretend they have a vague idea of how to take photos properly with a user friendly toolbox of cropping tools, filters and an image enhancing “quick fix” button.

Twitter explains the functionality upgrades in the tutorial video below aka the tech version of leaving a flaming bag of dog shit outside someone’s doorstep.
