NSW Deputy Premier Calls For Turnbull To Sod Off As An Xmas Gift To Us All

The Deputy Premier of New South Wales has stepped above his pay grade this morning, telling Malcolm Turnbull to quit as a Chrissie gift to the country.

In an interview with 2GB, John Barilaro, who is a member of the Nationals, described Turnbull as “completely out of touch” and said he had “lost all hope”.

“Turnbull is the problem, the Prime Minister is the problem,” he said. “He should step down, allow for a clean out of what the leadership looks like federally.”

Barilaro, who is probably having his name written on an assassination order by Turnbull himself right now as we speak, is the highest ranking Coalition member to tell the prime minister to sod off to date. That does not include whatever spicy group chats he’s currently getting absolutely roasted in.

“You’ve got a party in disarray, a Coalition Government in disarray and a community not unified and that is all at the feet of the Prime Minister of Australia,” he said.

Barilaro was particularly incensed with Turnbull’s assertion that the Queensland state election results had nothing to do with the federal government’s performance, which everyone knows is not really the case in any way you’d like to name.

What really got up my goat was on Sunday, was to hear the Prime Minister of this nation say there were no federal issues that affected the state election. That’s just a joke.

Turnbull volleyed back on Melbourne radio station 3AW, saying that Barilaro had never raised these issues with him personally. “It is odd he has never raised these matters with me personally,” he said, which are the words of a man who just saw a GOTDAMN SNAKE in action.

Folks. It’s lighting up. It’s on.
