Tony Jones Burned Andrew Bolt On Q&A Last Night

It was a spicy affair on Q&A last night. A studio-slash-opinions-colosseum in Ultimo forming the ring in which combative talking heads Malcolm Turnbull, Minister for Communications, Tanya Plibersek, Deputy Opposition Leader, comedian Ben Elton, journalist Jonathan Holmes and The Daily Telegraph Opinion Editor Sarrah Le Marquand agreed to disagree on everything from Tony Abbott’s G20 performance, climate change and ABC job cuts.
But the zinger of the night belonged to the host with the most, Tony Jones, who during a discussion of the appropriateness of satire in hard news programming in the wake of the poorly received shirtfronting sketch which ran on 7:30 last week, said this:

We’ll take that as a comment. 
He later “apologised”.
