Three People Arrested With More Than 1000 Pills At Sydney Dance Event


Two men and a woman, aged between 19 and 21, were arrested at a Sydney dance party over the weekend after being caught with a number of pills totalling more than 1000.
Per NSW Police reports, a 19-year-old man was found with 103 capsules of a drug believed to be MDMA at the Knockout Circuz event. Another man, aged 21, was found with 200 capsules
A 20-year old woman was taken in by police after being caught with an impressive 879 pills at the same event. 

The woman was charged with offences relating to the supply of a commercial quantity of drugs, and refused bail. The two men were charged with the supply of an indictable quantity of drugs, and granted conditional bail.
The event was attended by around 5000, and had a heavy police presence, with officers from the Surry Hills Local Area Command in attendance, assisted by the Dog Unit.
All told, 35 people were arrested and charged with drug-related offences at the event, including seven with supply. Three people were treated by paramedics, and one of these, a girl believed to be aged in her 20s, remains in hospital.
