These Cute Newly-Discovered Aussie Mini-Spiders Can Cure Yr Arachnophobia

Sydney scientist Jurgen Otto has discovered seven new kinds of spiders. We know – terrifying, right?

NOPE! Look how motherlickin’ cute these angels are! They’re called Peacock spiders.
They are tiny lil’ cuties, only measuring a few millimetres in length, and they’ve been hangin’ out around Western Australia‘s southern tip.
Dr Otto said this about the lil’ angels:
“They’re just absolutely incredible. People still think that I make them up because they’re so unbelievable. People can’t picture that they’re such a package of beauty.

Normally people think of spiders as something ugly, scary and dangerous, but they’re learning through my photographs and videos — they’re cute and colourful and adorable!

Even people who hate spiders, extreme arachnophobes love these spiders. They can’t help it.”
Otto says he thinks there’s about 48 species within the Maratus genus.
So hello to some of them below, they wanna be mates with you:

Oh and P.S. when they raise their arms all cute like they’re dancing, that’s their mating ritual.
