On The Today Show this morning, host Sylvia Jeffreys attempted to conduct a civilised live interview with an Adelaide zookeeper about the hopeful mating of pandas Wang Wang and Fu Ni.
But then the scripted phrase ‘shoots & leaves’ caught Sylvia by surprise, (a huge gold star to whoever worked that into the script 
), and she started to wobble. Then, the information arrived that last season the panda couple couldn’t quite hit ‘the right position’ – and Sylvia disintegrated into a pile of giggles. There was no help whatsoever from Karl Stefanovic and Lisa Wilkinson, who were also in fits of laughter.
