As a break from all the sickness and heartbreak and awfulness that life on earth is right now, I present to you the world’s most wholesome instagrammer, elderly British man Geoffrey Walker. Because we can’t all be writing and reading about sex criminals like Rolf Harris all day.

And from there the Instagram account that love built took on its own life, becoming something bigger than videos of flowers, sometimes-grainy photographs and Geoff’s thoughtful comments about his life and his beloved wife. As the popularity of memes that really just say ‘I love my girlfriend’ rises, lovers of ~dank content~ that feels like a hug found something new to froth on, the original tweet garnering 117K likes and 34K retweets, and Walker 7,765 followers.
The numbers don’t lie, guys, and neither does our new mate, Geoff.
