Cars and skateboards are two modes of transport that should not crossover, something to learn from the tragic news that a 17-year-old skateboarder who was being towed behind a car has died from injuries he sustained after falling. He suffered major head injuries and died at the scene.
The friend who was driving the vehicle (also aged 17) has now been charged with manslaughter. This is another good reason why we need more skate parks and to keep our existing ones in tip top condition so there’s plenty of public space for people to skate without having to resort to tricks out of Jackass.
