Sophie Turner Just Let Slip That ‘Game Of Thrones’ Won’t Be Back Til 2019

NOOOOOOOOOO. NO NOPE NO, EVERYTHING IS BAD.

We knew this was probably going to happen, but now we have confirmation: Game of Thrones will not be back until 2019. DO YOU KNOW HOW FAR AWAY THAT IS? At least 12 months. By the time we actually get to the season premiere, probably more like 18. I know we’ve all thought about this, but have you really considered the facts? There will be no Game of Thrones season next year.

Sophie Turner let the news slip today. In the final question of her interview with Variety – just your garden variety, ‘are you excited about your upcoming work’ kind of question – she revealed the devastating news.

“Yeah, I’m really excited. Game of Thrones comes out in 2019. Dark Phoenix is in November. Then I have a couple indie movies coming out. I’m a producer on my next movie [Girl Who Fell From the Sky]. So I’m really excited about the future.”

TWO THOUSAND AND NINETEEN.

But while you’re waiting an obscene amount of time to find out if the goblins manage to kill the dragon and steal his gold, Jason Momoa is out there mouthing off about already knowing what happens. And this dude’s character was killed off six seasons ago! Where, I ask you, is the justice.

The actor recently paid a set visit to the crew in Belfast, and while there managed to spoil just about everything for himself. He excitedly told Entertainment Weekly:

“Just knowing how amazing this season is going to be… It’s going to be the greatest thing that’s ever aired on TV. It’s going to be unbelievable. It’s going to f— up a lot of people. And it was a bummer because I’m a huge fan and I didn’t want to know what’s going on. I was like, ‘Damn, I didn’t want to know that!

Great. All your faves are going to die.
