Att Ppl Of Syd: Samsung Galaxy’s Throwing A Party On The Harbour & You Could Score A Ticket

Step right up folks, cos Samsung Galaxy is about to host Australia’s first ever Flextival — an intimate sensory music festival right on the steps of the harbour, featuring an exclusive PNAU DJ set.

Held at Sydney’s Cargo Hall on September 28, the one-night-only event will be hosted by renowned MC Shantan Wantan Ichiban, and will also feature Set Mo, Dena Amy, Stacie Fields, dameeeela, Troy Beman, and Madami.

PNAU’s Nick Littlemore says: “It’s always extra special for us to play in Sydney as it’s our hometown, and there are few better places to perform than against the iconic backdrop of the Opera House. The Flextival line-up is a great showcase of up-and-coming talent, and the intimate venue is sure to make it even more memorable.”

Cool, cool — so what’s so sensory about it? Glad you asked, kid! Apart from the music, the festival will feature works created and curated by a group of visual artists including Tom Yau, André Hemer, George Dooley and Quinn.XYZ.

The event’s main stage — which is built to mirror the shape, proportions, and features of the Galaxy Z 4th Gen Flip — will be made up of a huge six-metre high LED wall and floor and will also feature stunning digital visuals created by the artists. Quite tasty, I for one welcome our new giant flip phone overlord.

Lucky attendees will also have the opportunity to get hands-on with Samsung’s new foldable phones in Studio Flex.

Oh, and of course how could I forget! There’ll be a bar serving yummy drinks for Flextivalers to enjoy, and don’t worry about any little twerps getting in your way, the whole shebang will be strictly 18+.

Tickets will be available to the general public from 10am on September 21, but get in quick sticks cos when we say intimate, we mean it — there’ll only be limited tix up for grabs.

For more info, stay tuned. We’ll have a special allocation of tickets that we’ll be providing access to, which will be released on the 21st. And if you’re looking to upgrade your device game, visit the Galaxy Z Series eStore.
