Samsung Galaxy’s Hosting A Music Festival In Syd Ft. PNAU (DJ SET) & We’re Handing Out Free Tix

Flextival

Have you been in the mood lately to vibe out to some DJs and experience a trippy light show at the same time? Well, if you’re in Sydney you’re in luck. Samsung Galaxy is holding an intimate sensory music festival dubbed Flextival. The event is set to feature performances from electronic music stars PNAU (DJ SET) and we have tickets to give away to you and a buddy.

This one-night spectacle will be held at Sydney’s Cargo Hall in the Overseas Passenger Terminal on September 28. The event will be hosted by renowned MC Shantan Wantan Ichiban and will feature PNAU (DJ SET) headlining, supported by an incredible line-up including Dena Amy, Set Mo and Stacie Fields. There will also be some great up-and-comer local DJ sets from dameeeela, Madami and Troy Beman making up a stacked four hours of music for the night.

For those who haven’t been to a sensory music concert before, they are truly next level. While the DJs are doing their thing, works from visual artists Tom Yau, Andre Hemer, George Dooley and Quinn.XYZ will be doubling down on the event’s trippy fold, flip and flex aesthetic so you can truly immerse yourself in those beats.

To help these visuals pop off, the event’s main stage is made up of two huge six metre high LEDs to resemble the shape and the features of the Galaxy Z 4th Gen Flip. There will also be a Flex Studio where participants can get a hands-on experience with the latest entry in the Samsung Galaxy Z series. So if you’ve been sceptical about a smartphone with flip features, you can try it out yourself and live out those early 2000’s-era phone memes like opening and closing the phone out of habit and asking other grownups if they have games on it. You can also check out Flex mode on the phone, a feature that splits apps between the top and bottom portions of the screen which is bound to trigger some nostalgia for those Nintendo DS days.

There will also be a bar on site serving bevs for Flextival attendants to enjoy, so it goes without saying that the event will be 18+ exclusively.
