Russian Military Plane Goes Missing Over The Black Sea With 91 Passengers

As if there hasn’t been enough aircraft disappearances in recent times, a Russian military plane carrying 91 people has disappeared from the radar just 20 minutes after taking off from the city of Sochi. The Russian Defence Ministry has confirmed that after leaving the resort town of Sochi at 5:40am Moscow time on December 25, the plane dropped off the radar.

The aircraft – a Russian TU-154 – was transporting musicians from the famous Alexandrov Ensemble to a Russian air base in Syria, where they were going to perform to armed forces. With them on the plane were journalists and other military personnel. Russian rescue crews have been sent to search for the plane.
