Remember Sanity? Well The Bloke That Owns It Just Bought A $47M House

Remember Sanity? The store flogging CDs and DVDs that still exists in 2016?

Well, never say that hard copy media is dead, because Sanity boss Ray Itaoui has just bought a fuck-off beautiful house in the elite Sydney suburb of Vaucluse for a rumoured $47 million.

Here’s the view:

And before you find yourself thinking, “fuck me that Itaoui’s a bit rich hey“, please know that the Carrara Road waterfront mansion was originally listed at $60 million, before being discounted to $53 million last year.

Housing crisis? WHAT housing crisis?

The property – set over three levels – contains nine bedrooms, 10 bathrooms, an office suit, guest quarters, a games room, a home theatre, his and hers change rooms, a 20-metre swimming pool and five-car garage.

It boasts 2000 square metres of internal living space alone.

It’s fkn mint.
Itaoi and his wife Rachel will be moving in next door to bar tzar Justin Hemmes, which hopefully means they can blag rides of his sea plane and skip the queue at Marquee. It’s the little things, you know?
Like many uber-exxy houses you can never afford / be invited into, there’s a video advertisement for this place circa 2014, and it’s insanely sexual.
The whole idea is about a virginal house with a pool that has “never been plunged into before” and a garage space that “never [been] played in before”.

Weird, yes, but in fairness I do kind of want to fuck this house.

The property sale is the second biggest in Sydney this year, only being outdone by Menulog co-founder Leon Kamenev who parted ways with almost $80 million for four houses on the nearby Coolong Road

Ahhh, to be rich.
