Victoria Police have launched a call-to-arms in order to find the scumbag who attacked 19-year-old Patrick Cronin.
Cronin was on life support after being coward punched after a brawl at the Windy Mile Pub in Diamond Creek, VIC on Saturday night.
The brawl, which is said to have included around 30 men, was between two opposing football sides. Witnesses said he was leaning down to help a friend when he was struck from behind.
According to The Australian an ambulance was called, but it was cancelled when Cronin got up and started walking. He was taken to Royal Melbourne Hospital more than 2 hours later in critical condition. He passed away yesterday afternoon.
His family have named him an “absolute hero and star”, and have said that his organs will be donated.
Police are still looking for the man who delivered the blow, describing him as ‘Caucasian, with a solid build, has dark hair and was wearing a light coloured t-shirt with blue sleeves with a pocket on the front, dark pants and dark shoes. It’s also believed he has a tattoo on his right bicep and upper arm.’

Bastards like the one pictured shouldn’t be walking around thinking that randomly punching strangers is their birthright. Examples of these people must be set, so we can eradicate our the ingrained violence in our society and show these people that actions have consequences.
Killing someone over a game means you don’t get to walk around on the street and live like a normal human being, because you’re not one. Uncontrollable violent rage is not welcome here.
