Pizza Hut’s new owners are considering bringing back dine-in restaurants.
Truly.
Speaking to news.com.au, the Hut’s new CEO Lisa Ransom said “it’s all on the table at the moment,” and that “we get a lot of demand for dine-in restaurants and we’ll absolutely be looking at those opportunities moving forward.”
Of course, it’s not so much the buildings that you should be pumped about, but their contents. That iconic buffet bar may just make a return too, with Ransom saying that decision will be made depending on public demand.
“[Fans] are looking for us to do some different things and bring back some of the things that they love about the brand.”
Like the Australian public isn’t going to demand the best part of childhood make a full comeback. Just think about the garlic bread alone, fam. It’s got us feelin’ like Dougie.
Pizza Hut ended up nabbing 50 old Eagle Boys’ restaurants nationwide in that deal, and Ransom flagged the chain’s intention to open new stores too, all but ensuring you’ll have access to bulk jelly cubes, soft serves and bacon bits if / when Pizza Hut make the right decision regarding the buffet.
