Oh God, The Melbs RIP Tay-Tay Mural Has Already Copped An Artistic Update

We all saw the Taylor Swift (or perhaps Smith) mural in Melbourne yesterday – an artful elegy for the pop star after she shuffled off this mortal coil thanks to Kim Kardashian‘s Snapchat, which revealed that she was at least partially aware of Kanye West‘s infamous ‘Famous’ lyric.

Here’s the visual of the production:
As with all such things, though, it looks like the lawyer’s came a-knockin’. Artist Lushsux posted on Instagram that Tay Tay’s lawyers had been in contact over the art:
So like the Sydney Kanye mural, this one looked like it was destined for a legal struggle. No longer, it appears. Taylor won’t have any ground to stand on – this is now a moving, touching tribute to everyone’s favourite ape: the late gorilla Harambe.

WHO DID THIS?!?!

Could Taylor’s legal machine possibly seek to undo a work of staggering genius such as this? A touching tribute to Harambe (the gorilla who died)? I say nay.
