NZ PM Jacinda Ardern Has Given Birth To A Precious Wee Baby Girl

New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern has given birth to a wee little baby daughter, confirming the precious one’s safe arrival on Instagram a few moments ago.

Ardern and partner Clarke Gayford announced the arrival of the girl – the couple’s first child together – who was born at 4:45pm local time at Auckland City Hospital.

It is, as you’d imagine, entirely precious and nice and wonderful.

In an interesting twist of fate, the baby girl’s birthday of June 21 means she shares it with former Pakistani Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto, the only other female leader of a nation to have given birth while serving in office.

Congratulations, Clarke and Jacinda! She’s a choice little new mate.
