Hundreds of absolute clowns have reportedly breached the NSW and Queensland border in Coolangatta for another anti-lockdown protest.
According to an eyewitness account, protesters “walked across the Griffith street border entry and are now back along Marine Parade”.

In a video below, they can be heard chanting: “The people, united, will never be divided.”

While the entire state of NSW is currently under lockdown, Queensland residents are free from lockdown and have had zero cases of community transmission of covid-19 for the second day in a row.
The Brisbane Times reports that several police units have been dispatched and are moving through the crowd, which as of publishing has been peaceful.
Earlier today, Queensland Deputy Premier Steven Miles called that protest “reckless” and “shameful”.
It follows a similar protest in Brisbane yesterday, which included an anti-lockdown banner in the not-locked-down skies of the Brisbane CBD, as well as others in Sydney and Melbourne CBD. Protesters at the later event violently clashed with Victoria Police at Flinders Street Station, where more than 200 were arrested and six police officers were hospitalised.
