Wild Footage Captures 10 NSW Cops Manhandling Two Men Caught Eating Pizza In A Car

NSW Police have issued social distancing fines to two men and cautioned another two after a group was spotted eating pizza in a car on Saturday afternoon in Sydney’s outer west.

Police spotted the group eating pizza in a car in Condell Park, near Bankstown, at around 1:45pm on Saturday afternoon.

Wild footage captured at the scene by one of the men involved shows a large group of more than 10 police officers on the scene, with one man sitting on a driveway after being placed in handcuffs.

The footage then shows another man being wrestled to the ground by police after he attempted to move the detained man off pavers and onto a grassy area.

At various points throughout the video, the handcuffed man is clearly heard saying “Look at what youse have done to me, and for what?” and “Under the legislation of this country, I’m entitled to say whatever I want, to whoever I want.”

NSW Police later confirmed that two Milperra men, one aged 22 and the other 26, were issued Penalty Infringement Notices for failing to comply with a Public Health Order. The 26-year-old man was also issued a subsequent PIN for using offensive language. Two other men reportedly in the same car were issued warnings.

Those fines came on top of a widespread police crackdown on social movement across the Easter long weekend. On Saturday alone NSW Police issued 100 on-the-spot fines to people caught flouting social distancing restrictions, with each fine totalling $1,000 per individual.
