Nickelback Are In A Beef W/ Arnold Schwarzenegger Over ‘Batman & Robin’

It’s safe to say that we live in one of the stupidest times in history. A thousand of years ago, most people would only have heard one piece of news per year, and nine times out of ten that news would have been “a horse got sick and died“. Today, thanks largely to the internet and, more specifically, social media, there’s more news than anyone ever could have anticipated.

Who could have foreseen 10 years ago that one of the worst bands of all time would be leveraging one of the worst movies of all time as a sledge against a former US governor, who also happened to star in that movie? Anyone who says they could have is a goddamn liar.
But, here we are. After former Governator Arnold Schwarzenegger made a joke at the expense of Canadian pop-rock group / weapon of mass destruction Nickelback, the “band” (arguable) hit back at him where he’s most vulnerable: his role as Mr Freeze in the absolutely horrendous 1997 film ‘Batman & Robin‘.
If you’re unfamiliar with the movie: good. You’re better off that way. It’s a jumble of bizarre costumes, horrible puns and bat nipples. Do not watch this movie.
It starts off with this (actually quite interesting) explanation of gerrymandering:

The ‘Back (that’s what I call Nickelback) clearly did not appreciate the jibe:

Despite what you would think, this shockingly brutal own didn’t make his body explode – he chose to roll with the punches, including some of the ungodly puns that made that movie so magnificently terrible:

Unfortunately, they decided to patch up. I was hoping this would end in some sort of insane street fight.

Smug bastards:

What a deeply bizarre time to be alive.
