Naked Man Arrested After Brutal Machete Stabbing Incident In Sydney’s West

A naked man in his 20s was arrested last night after allegedly stabbing two women in a brutal attack in Sydney‘s west.

Police arrived at the Emu Plains home after several calls to Triple 0 reported screams and yelling coming from the residence.

They found the man armed with a machete and a sword attempting to smash his way through a locked door, behind which the two women – believed to be his mother and girlfriend – were hiding.

Both women, aged 55 and 22, were found to be conscious but bleeding heavily from multiple stab wounds, including from the head, stomach and hands. They were rushed to Westmead Hospital in a critical condition.

The man bolted from the scene of the crime, but was arrested a short time later on a nearby street, naked and armed with a knife.

No charges have yet been laid. The man is said to be assisting police with their enquiries.
