A man shot in Sydney’s CBD overnight has been identified as Michael Ibrahim, a convicted killer and the younger brother of Kings Cross nightclub identity John Ibrahim.
Per reports in ABC News and elsewhere, he is in hospital in a stable condition. The shooting occurred outside 151 Macquarie Street, at around 10.30pm on Sunday.
News Limited report that a man aged in his 30s has been arrested, but not charged.
Ibrahim was released on bail last year, after serving more than seven years for his part in a fatal stabbing in 2006.
