Remember when Miley Cyrus got a tattoo of Jupiter, except it was actually Saturn?
The tattooist responsible for that ‘lil arm sketch is Aussie artist and all-round legend Lauren Winzer, who’s turned her talents to designing what has to be the loosest wine label this side of the southern hemisphere.
It’s slapped on bottles of ‘Blind Unicorn Juice’ aka the new hipster vino from the boys behind Sydney estabs Mary’s Newtown and The Unicorn Hotel, to be added to their respective drinks menus in the next week or two.
Made by Ben Gould of Blind Corner in Margaret River, WA, ‘Unicorn Juice’ translates to a pink sparkling with a splash of shiraz for colour. Oh, and it’s organic.
Who the hell knows what the brief was for the fine print on Laura’s label illos, but this is how it ended up:
You’re not wrong: that does indeed read “best enjoyed with meth”.
As for the stripper endorsement, that bit’s true.
“I tattoo and am friends with a bunch of amazing strippers. When I showed them the label they were losing it!,” Lauren told PEDESTRIAN.TV.
