A Package Sent To Meghan & Harry Is Being Treated As A ‘Racist Hate Crime’

A package that was sent to St James’ Palace, reportedly addressed to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, is being treated by the British Metropolitan Police as a “racist hate crime” according to a statement.

The package contained a white powder and a racist letter, according to UK media reports.

The investigation into the package is being led by the London counter-terrorism command, although the police will not divulge who the envelope was addressed to or what the white substance was, they did state that tests showed it to be non-suspicious. The allegation of the racist letter is still being investigated.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle don’t live in St James’ Palace, although several members of the royal family do, including Prince Charles and Princess Anne. The package was allegedly sent to the Palace for sorting before delivery.

Kensington Palace have not yet made a comment on the incident, which continues to be investigated.
