Max Lomas, Who Found Bobbi Kristina Brown, Dies Of Suspected Overdose

Max Lomas, the friend who found the late Bobbi Kristina Brown unconscious in a bathtub in 2015, has died of a suspected overdose in the US state of Mississippi.

According to documents from the Mississippi State Medical Examiner’s Office, Lomas was found by a friend in the bathroom of a home in Saltillo.

He was last seen ten minutes earlier, and when his associates became concerned and checked on him, he was found slumped over a toilet “with a syringe nearby.”

He was rushed to hospital, where he was pronounced dead. His official cause of death will not be released for six weeks, but it is being investigated as a “probable” heroin overdose.

He was 28 years old.

Max Lomas spent a “significant” amount of time with Bobbi Kristina Brown and her boyfriend Nick Gordon in the days before her death.

Brown was found unresponsive and face-down in a bathtub in her Georgia home on January 31, 2015. She was rushed to hospital and placed in an induced coma with diminished brain function.

After several months, it was determined that she had “global and irreversible” brain damage, and she was placed in hospice care in Duluth, where she died on July 26.

No criminal charges were filed in relation to Brown’s death, although her estate successfully sued Gordon for $US 36 million, including damages awards for loss of future income.
