Bobbi Kristina Brown, the daughter of late music legend Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown, has died at the age of 22. She passed away surrounded by family and friends at Peachtree Christina Hospice in Duluth, Georgia, on July 26.
“She is finally at peace in the arms of God,” her family said, in an exclusive statement to ET. “We want to again thank everyone for their tremendous amount of love and support during these last few months.”
Brown was found unresponsive in a bathtub at her home on January 31 this year, and has remained in hospital since. Though she was briefly placed in a rehabilitation centre, she entered hospice care on July 24.
“Despite the great medical care at numerous facilities, Bobbi Kristina Brown’s condition has continued to deteriorate,” Pat Houston added. “We thank everyone for their support and prayers. She is in God’s hands now.”
