A 19-year-old man has been charged with three counts of murder in relation to the deaths of three people in Ellenbrook, a northeastern suburb of Perth.
The charges relate to the deaths of an eight-year-old boy, a 15-year-old girl and their 48-year-old mother, who were found in a house in the early hours of Sunday morning, after police were called to a nearby convenience store.
At the time, police report that the boy and his mother were already dead, while the girl was alive but injured. She succumbed to her injuries in the ambulance en route to Perth Hospital.
Whether or not the 19-year-old man has any relationship with the deceased has not been confirmed.
The accused will appear before the Midland Magistrates Court today.
