Kids to Learn What Warnie couldn’t

Sometimes magic does happen! For the religiously inclined it’s proof of God, for the rest of us it is just an amazing testament to the beauty of coincidence in a universe filled with variables. One such time was the recent Sexting’ scandal that US congressmen Anthony Weiner (pronounced WEE-nur) got himself into, after he sent photos of his….well, you can fill in the blanks. Weinergate, as it has been aptly named, is just one of many example of this increasingly common tech-phenomenon that has claimed the scalps of both Warnie (surprise, surprise) and Tiger (actual surprise!).

Unfortunately, sexting has hit our schools with a bigger bang than Pogs, and it’s no longer funny when kids are doing it. Hence the release of ‘Tagged ‘; an educational film outlining the dangers of sexting. Available to all Australian schools, it aims to teach kids just how quickly one message can go viral, with disastrous consequences. There have been some disturbing cases recently in schools, and hopefully this video will help educate some of those crazy kids before its too late.

It is too late for Weiner, and his scalp is now frolicking with many other dubious characters in cyberspace forever. But the future is not all dark, if he ever makes a switch to features, it’s likely to make ‘One night in Paris‘ look tamer than Justin Bieber’s acne commercial. Wordsmiths, start you engines, think of the title possibilities!
