The dude least surprised you went slightly over budget, Grand Designs host Kevin McCloud, is returning to Australia for another run at the Grand Designs Live series.
The Comic-Con for aspirational living, rooms with a view and fine Italian kitchen fixtures will inspire and educate with seminars delivered by architects, property managers, builders, interior designers and hosts of popular British lifestyle programs, as well as an expert advice centre, a marketplace offering the wares of over 200 vendors and show areas dedicated to kitchens, bathrooms, interiors, outdoor, building, technology and sustainability.
As someone who routinely watches that show with vague aspirations of one day marrying someone rich enough to help me build my dream home, this sounds like heaven.
Grand Designs Live takes place from 17-19 October at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre in Melbourne and from 24-26 October at the Sydney Exhibition Centre at Glebe Island in Sydney.
