Just So You Know, Kevin Andrews Doesn’t Care Who Leads The “Freedom Hating” Greens

When a major political rival announces their resignation from their party leadership and flags their intention to step down from Federal Politics, there’s one of two ways you – as a fellow Federal Politician – can react.

The first way is with dignity, with respect and reverence for a colleague who, despite ideological differences, provided engaging and relevant discourse, carried the legacy of the Australian Parliament with aplomb, and who – like yourself, and all good politicians – represented the people who elected them to the best of their abilities. You congratulate them on a fine career, thank them for their public service, and wish them all the best in their future endeavours.
The second way is completely do away with all of that and act like a petulant prat instead.
When it came to the resignation of Greens leader Christine Milne, Defence Minister Kevin Andrews chose the latter.

Freedom hating.

FREEDOM HATING.
If this is the kind of Confederate jawjacking Andrews chooses to employ, we kindly suggest he don a Stetson and declare a Parliamentary writ of “IF YOU DON’T LIKE AMERICA AUSTRALIA THEN YOU CAN GEEEEEET OUT.
For the record, the Greens leadership is a three way race between Adam Bandt, Scott Ludlam, and Richard Di Natale.
