VIC Police Offer $100K For Info On Man Who Allegedly Killed Brother W/ Sword

Police are offering a $100,000 reward for information on fugitive Jonathan Dick, who allegedly killed his brother with a sword in a Westfield carpark in February last year.

Dick, 40, is believed to be “hiding in plain sight” and has successfully evaded the police for the past 18 months.

“It’s our belief that over the past year, Jonathan has essentially been hiding in plain sight,” Homicide Squad Detective Inspector Tim Day said “His movements over the past 18 months are a mystery and we require the public’s help.”

It is believed that Dick is also responsible for an attack on one of his former friends with a hammer in August.

To aid with the search, police have released a video of Dick from a friend’s wedding in 2007, to familiarise the public with his appearance and mannerisms.

They do not believe he is sleeping rough, as footage caught during the hammer attack showed he is clean shaven, has not lost weight and was wearing clean clothes.

Dick is described as being of Caucasian appearance, aged in his 30s, about 176cm tall with a solid build and mousy brown hair.
