James Blake has just announced he’ll be performing two Australian shows – one in Melbourne, one in Sydney – THIS month. That was sudden. You should go ahead and clear whatever it is you’ve got penciled in your diary because seeing Blake perform in such intimate spaces will be worth it.
At this pair of exclusive gigs Blake will play new stuff from his forthcoming record Overgrown, set for an April 5th release day. We’ve already been introduced to the album with the sparse soulful ballad “Retrograde” and if it’s any indication, the new material is going to be gorgeous.
