Australia will play host to two of the most beloved cultural figures in the world with news that both Ira Glass and David Sedaris will tour the country in January. The former has been announced as part of next year’s Sydney Festival lineup presenting a show called Reinventing Radio: An Evening with Ira Glass while the latter – last here in 2010 – will perform his usual array of readings and monologues for An Evening With David Sedaris, touring nationally. Considering Sedaris got his break on Glass’ This American Life it doesn’t surprise us that their dates intersect. We’d be happy to show you chaps around town. Details below…
