Titled “The Sound Of Light” Natalie Wood of Sydney label Something Else lends her design expertise to an ethereal pompom laden window display at Incu’s Padding and City stores. Always on the grind, the Sydney retailer recently launched interstate and has previously enlisted Pedestrian’s favourite gender-bending art collective and idiosyncratic couturiers, The Kingpins, to concoct a window display.
Described as “giant dream catchers, filled with all colours of the rainbow” Wood’s window display is partly inspired by her SS09 collection of the same name and artfully tangles wooden branches with florescent pink, yellow and orange strings embellished with Pompoms, feathers and various sparkling adornments.
The Sound of Light installation will be exhibited at the Incu City and Padington stores from 3/8/09 until 25/9/09.
