Heads up, gentle readers – if you’re in the vicinity of Sydney and you recently happened to lose 34 garbage bags stuffed with cannabis, you’ll be happy to know that NSW Police have found them safe and sound.
Yesterday evening, investigators attended bushland between McCarr’s Creek Road and Kanangra Avenue in Terrey Hills, and found the large stash of weed-filled bags after a tip-off from a member of the public.
Officers from Northern Beaches Local Area Command say that the bags contained a mixture of plants and seedlings that they believe to be cannabis, and the items were taken away for further examination.
Anyone with any information on the discovery is urged to contact call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or if the bags are yours, you could just come forward and collect them. What could possibly go wrong?
