Horrible Nightmare Monster Eats 2.7 Metre Great White Shark

Who’s ready to never even look at the ocean again? I hope you are ready because today we find out that somewhere in the water very near us is a thing called a “colossal cannibal great white shark”. You’re welcome for the nightmares!

As well as being real, and REAL AWFUL, the very reason we know the colossal cannibal great white shark exists is horrifying all by itself. You see, it all started with a 2.7 metre female Great White, codenamed “Shark Alpha”, who was tagged by Australian researchers and whose tag washed up on our coast several months later.
So what happened? Well, researchers analyzed the tag and discovered Shark Alpha had plunged 580 metres down into a deep ocean trench, which coincided with the temperature around it rising 30 degrees. There are no warm pockets that deep, meaning the only way the nine-foot great white got that warm that deep was being inside something. As in, inside something’s stomach. And apparently that thing was the colossal cannibal great white shark. According to Gizmodo:
The scientists claim their new data matched all of the tracking information from the disappeared shark: The body temperature they registered was the same and the size of the cannibal great white shark—which they estimated to be 16 foot long and weigh over 2 tons—could easily pull off the same speed and trajectory captured in the tracking device.
Horrifying.
