Helen Mirren is an angel. She’s an actual angel.
In March, Vulture reported that Mirren is a surprisingly huge fan of Vin Diesel and the ‘Fast & Furious’ franchise, and they asked why she hasn’t gotten a role in any of the films yet.
“I keep putting it out there, and they never ask me!” she exclaimed.
Well, her Furious-less days are over, because she’s gotten a part in the newest leg of the booming franchise, ‘Fast 8’.
In an interview with Elle, Mirren confirmed that she’ll be in F8. Then, upon being asked if she likes cars, she said:
“I’ve always rather loved driving.I said, ‘I’ll be in it, but only if I’m allowed to drive if I do drive in it.’But we’ll see. We’ll see how it transpires.”
