There are a fair few people who could kill you quick-like in the wonderful land of Westeros. For the most part though, Game of Throne’s cast are regular human beings without the ability to, you know, control dragons, use black magic or crush someone’s skull with their bare hands.
Hafthór Júlíus Björnsson is not a normal human being.
But, Conor McGregor is not a normal human being either.
Today, the Irish MMA superstar reminded the world of his insanity – and the skills to back it up – by posting his encounter with Björnsson on Twitter.
Today I had a bare-knuckle fight off a 180kg monster called ‘The Mountain’

The pair squared off at a gym in Dublin in what was presumably the most amazing sparring session of all time: Björnsson, the behemoth untrained in actual martial arts, versus McGregor, the 66kg firecracker whose incisive punches are likened more to chisels than hammers.
Nobody died during the session, which is just as well, as McGregor is cracking on for a massive fight against Jose Aldo in UFC 194. Björnsson, of course, had just come off filming Game of Thrones massive sixth season.
Fuck politics and fuck religion.
I just want to swing a few lefts and a few rights for a couple of hundred mill in peace.
