Frankie Crowned 2012 Magazine of the Year

Frankie Magazine continues its reign as Australia’s best independent publication. It stands as one of the fastest growing titles in the market boasting a huge following of craft-adoring disciples so dedicated Frankie subsequently came up with a coffee table tome for interiors enthusiasts called Spaces and man-friendly spinoff Smith Journal just to keep the eager punters satisfied. In case you required further proof of Frankie’s editorial prowess, yesterday the 2012 Australian Magazine Awards (AMAs) decried it the Magazine of the Year.

Frankie also took out the Women’s Fashion category, an incredible accomplishment considering its competition: Harper’s BAZAAR and Vogue Australia – huge brands and industry leaders, both of which belong to commercial Sydney-based publishing houses (ACP and NewsLifeMedia, respectively) compared to Frankie publisher Morrison Media based on the Gold Coast.

Congratulations to the team at Frankie. Here’s to the not-so-little, little guy.
